Fellow spotlight

Veronica PrietoVeronica Penyak Cipriani, MD
University of Chicago

My interest in MS stemmed from a research experience I had in medical school.  I was able to not only see patients in clinic, but also sit in on their support groups at the Miami VA Hospital.  I realized that the patient population is very brave and resilient.  I also find the immunologic aspect of the disease interesting.

Pilar Prieto, MD
Ohio State University

My interest in MS started when I was 13 years old.  My best friend's mom was diagnosed with MS and throughout the years we saw her declining until her passing in 2013. I love working with patients with MS.  We can provide holistic management for them and  have the opportunity to make positive changes in their lives as we discover new treatments.
