MS Activists Celebrate Legislative Wins in Washington State

MS Activists in Washington made their voices heard on a variety of issues affecting the MS community as part of MS State Action Day. Both priority bills passed the legislature with bipartisan support.
- SB 5532: Prescription Drug Affordability Board will work to lower the cost of prescription medications in the state via an expert led review panel which will set policy to lower prices and make recommendations to the legislature for future actions.
- SB 5610 will direct all copays and manufacture assistance to be counted towards patients' deductible and out-of-pocket costs.
MS Activists made over 140 connections with lawmakers as part of MS State Action Day in February.
